  8. SymBase overview
  9.  
  10.  This package is a relational database managing system. With it, you can
  11.  create and store databases, manipulate its contents and structure.
  12.  You can develop database programs, with the included Amos extension.
  13.  You don't need to learn any database language. Your existing Amos
  14.  experiences will help you to develop the program, which using databases.
  15.  
  16.  The package contains some external programs besides the extension.
  17.  Tools and examples to help the programming job. These are created with
  18.  the powerful Gui Extension. Look about it at the Amos Factory:

  21.  The whole project started as a billing, and inventory program, for our
